From small agencies to global brands as BBDO, Saatchi&Saatchi or Publicis, David has been shooting worldwide for markets as Germany, Japan, Italy, the US, Mexico, Qatar, Dubai, Russia, India, England and of course Spain. He has collaborated as well with different NGOs as Doctors Without Borders, Action Against Hunger or Red Cross creating for them campaigns and documentary materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nHis\nadvertising work also gave him the chance to collaborate with actors\nas Oscar winner Javier Bardem or one of the biggest Bollywood stars,\nFarhan Akhtar. He also shot commercials with sport celebrities like\nMotoGP world champion Marc M\u00e1rquez, F1 world champions Sebastian\nVettel and Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen, NBA players Pau and Marc Gasol, or\ninternational football players as James Rodriguez, Cesc Fabregas,\ngoalkeeper Pepe Reina or Ronaldinho, between many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nSome\nof his latest awards were 2017 Pantalla de Cristal Awards in Mexico\nto Best Director and Best Commercial for his Macronet Infinitum\ncampaign. Also in 2018 his online campaign for Santander Bank\n\u201cFormula Rock Contest\u201d is awarded with a Bronze Lion at Cannes\nFestival, and as well with a Golden Sun at the El Sol Latin-American\nFestival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>TV & FILM WORK:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \nDirects\nhis first short film in 1996, DOCTOR CURRY, nominated at more than 30\ninternational festivals, awarded at the CINEMA JOVE Festival of\nValencia with the International CANAL+ Award, Silver award at\nMontreal FANTASIA Film Festival, and Best Short Film at the Chicago\nInternational Film Fest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \nHis\nsecond short HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 YOU, shot in 2006 based on a story by\ncontroversial writer Hern\u00e1n Migoya, was selected and awarded in more\nthan 60 festivals around the world including Best Short awards at\nScreamfest Los Angeles and New York Horror Film Festival, and Best\nSpanish Short at San Sebastian Fantastic Film Festival. This work\ngets the attention of some Hollywood talent agencies, so from 2007 to\n2010 he is represented in L.A. by Endevour Agency and later by\nParadigm Agency. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n \nOver\nthis period he gets attached to several scripts and starts developing\nprojects like Lewis Carroll\u00b4s Phantasmagoria working together with\nrock star Marilyn Manson and to be produced by Wild Bunch. Also\ndevelops the supernatural thriller Mile Zero starring Milla Jovovich,\nwritten by James\nVanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spiderman) to be produced by Phoenix\nPictures (Shutter Island, Black Swan), and the adaptation of Bret\nEaston Ellis\u2019 novel Lunar Park to be produced by Lawrence Bender\n(Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction)\nBut unfortunately those projects, plus some others developed both in\nL.A. and Spain, didn\u2019t get finally made. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n \nIn\n2011 he directs the first season of the Mexican TV drama NI\u00d1O SANTO,\na psychological thriller set in the Yucatan jungle starring Karla\nSouza (How to get away with Murder) written by Mauricio Katz (Maniac,\nThe Bridge) with cinematography by Gonzalo Amat (Happy!, Person of\nInterest, Man in the High Castle) and produced by Canana Films (Diego\nLuna and Gael Garc\u00eda Bernal\u2019s production company) Ni\u00f1o Santo was\nacquired by Amblin Television to produce its American remake, and has\nbeen announced Netflix is developing the Brazilian adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \nIn\nDavid 2014 creates for the celebrations of the National Day of Qatar\nthe short film THE STORM, a big VFX production including in its crew\nartists with credits on films as District 9 or Game of Thrones TV\nshow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nowadays David continues directing commercials and music videos worldwide, and is still working on the development of different fiction projects both in Europe and the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n AWARDS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Born in Barcelona in 1970.
